Most people these days go to internet for having fun. However truth is, nothing can match the awesomeness of playing outdoor games with little kids or your family member in your little backyard. For most us, most of the summer is busy. The kids have some staying up late and sleeping late to do, just because they can. They have sleepovers and swimming, bikes and videos keeping them busy. Memorial Day brings them family camping and cookouts. Fourth of July brings camping, cookouts and fireworks. Then there is the week or two that family vacations like seeing the Grand Canyon and the grandparents.
When spring and summer arrive, families get together for those Family Reunions. Everybody either chips in for a catered event or they have pot luck and everyone brings a dish. Either way, the food is delicious and the memories flow as everyone laughs and talks about the years before.
Fourth of July celebrations are so exciting! There are camping trips planned around the day. There are cookouts and parties planned or we head to local parks and stadiums to see the sky light up in bright colors with lots of bang, crack and pop to go along. That colorful show doesn't start till after dark though, so we have the whole day to find entertainment and fun.

Isn't it funny now we just seem to naturally congregate at the same house for certain activities. Maybe we all go to our favorite Aunt and Uncle's home for Thanksgiving and our Grandmother's home for Christmas.
