Kan Jam

The most unique aspect of this new game, Kan Jam, is that it comes in many different versions so that you can play it virtually anywhere. When we mean anywhere, we truly mean it. Not just played on the lawn or pavement, you can play it in the pool to even your office (when your boss is away).

There are several versions you can purchase. Besides the original game, you can purchase a glow in the dark kit and pool version. There is also a mini game set as well as a Kan Jam Gliders game set which can be played on your desk.

So how does one play Kan Jam? Kan Jam has two “cans” or really goals placed on either side about 50 feet apart. You can play with two teams of two or one-on-one. Each team takes turn throwing disks at their goal. You get 3 points if the disk goes in the top of the goal, 1 point if you hit the goal and it is redirected and 2 points if you directly hit the goal. If you can get the disk through the tiny slot in the front, you instantly win.

My Pole-ish Horseshoes

If throwing a Frisbee is a skill you excel in, then you are going to love this game. My Pole-ish Horseshoes (MPH) is played with two teams of two people. Each MPH pole is set about 30 feet apart from one another and place a waffle ball on top of each pole. Teams take turns throwing the Frisbee with the goal of knocking off their opponents waffle ball to the ground.

If the opposing team catches the Frisbee that doesn’t hit anything they get one point. If the opposing team throws the Frisbee but the defensive team doesn’t catch it, then the opposing team gets a point. If the opposing team knocks of their opponents waffle ball they get three points. No points are awarded if the throw is out of the range.

This game can be played in your backyard beach, camping or tailgating. You can even play it indoors. My Pole-ish Horseshoes are a great lawn game to have, that everyone will enjoy learning how to play.

Filmsee

Filmsee is another Frisbee throwing game similar to My Pole-ish Horseshoes. There are two Filmsee sticks that are placed on opposite sides of each other. On each pole there is two cups placed on the top, upside down on the pole. Each team of two takes turns throwing the Frisbee at opponent’s poles in hopes of knocking off their cups or through their sticks. You get 2 points for throwing the disc clear through the sticks and one point if the cups are knocked to the ground. The defensive team can prevent scoring by catching the cups as they bounce of the sticks. The first team to 12 points is the winner.

This game is great at any outdoor event with friends and family. Hours of fun, this game is a great way to connect with others with competitive play.

Rollors

If you are looking for a yard game that is different but one that everyone will love, Rollors is definitely it. Combining two classic yard games, Bocce and Horseshoes, Rollors is a game that all will enjoy and can be played anywhere on any surface. This leisure game has a red and blue goal that are placed 25 feet apart. The goal is to roll your discs closest to the goal. Your rollor should be be rolled on the edge and released like you would be rolling a bowling ball. In order to score you have to be within a 5 foot radius of the center of the goal. There is a measuring cord provided on top of each goal.

There are a few ways that you can earn points: Rollors that land on their side, you score the point value to the number that is showing on its side. Rollors that stand on the edge, you score a point equal to the sum of the number showing on both sides. Rollors that rest against the goal, you score point value of double of the number showing.          Only one player scores each round and that is the player with the rollor closest to the goal.
